Momento ("we", "us", "our") operates the Momento mobile application. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
When you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive your email address and display name. You also choose a username within the app.
Photos you take during Momento events are uploaded to our servers and stored securely. Photos are associated with the event and your account.
We collect your device push notification token so we can send you notifications about your events (e.g. when your reveal is ready).
We use PostHog to collect anonymous usage analytics such as which features you use, how often you open the app, and general interaction patterns. This data is not personally identifiable and helps us improve the app.

Photos and event data are kept for as long as your account is active. Account data is retained until you delete your account.

Momento is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has created an account, please contact us and we will delete it.
All data is transmitted over HTTPS. Photos are stored in private, access-controlled storage. Authentication is handled through industry-standard OAuth providers (Apple and Google).
We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the app or by email.
